The 2008 Plant Engineering magazine Product of the Year Grand Award was given to Orion Energy Systems Inc. for its Apollo(tm) Light Pipe.
The Pipe is a direct renewable solar lighting source that can reduce light-related energy costs to zero for up to ten hours a day.
