How Many Engineers is Enough?

Does the U.S. have enough engineers to reach its renewable energy goals?

Recent opinion article written in response to the following question:

I’ve heard some people say that there aren’t enough engineers graduating from accredited programs in the United States these days and I’m wondering if that will impact this country’s renewable energy goals. First, can you tell me if that is true and if it is, what should we do about it?
