All-USA College Academic Team

The USA Today’s 2009 All-USA College Academic Team program winners have been announced.

There was one Tau Bate First Team member:
Emily Calandrelli, WV A ’09,

And there are five Tau Bates on the Second Team:

John P. Casey, LA A ’09, Lisa Furby, IL E ’10,
Bradley Henicke, CO Z ’09, Yhni Thai, AL B ’10, and Indraneel Sircar, MA A ’09

Only three teams of 20 students were chosen out of approximately 500 nominated students from colleges across the country.

Sircar is also a 2009-10 Tau Beta Pi fellow and will pursue his Ph.D. at Purdue University.
