Making News: TBP Students, May 2009 Part 2

Christopher Ayala, NY O ’08, has won the nuResume Star Student Contest in Technology.

He was selected by Sun Microsystems, from over 20 qualified candidates, to receive exclusive job shadowing opportunities and a digital video recorder.

Christopher learned of the contest through Tau Beta Pi’s social network TBPCONNECT, and has signed up for nuResume’s alert network through a partnership to benefit student Tau Bate members. Learn more

Vinu Ilakkuvan, VA A ’09, is highlighted for her academic and research achievements as a double major, biomedical engineering and economics, graduate of the University of Virginia.

She plans to pursue graduate work at Harvard University and continue her research in developing a mechanical clamp for the treatment of uterine atony.
