EcoCAR Challenge: Part 1

EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge started in 2008 and Year One will conclude with the “Design Simulation Competition Finals” to be held in Toronto, Canada.

The June 7-12 Finals represent the first of three years of competition for the 17 participating North American universities in “North America’s Premier Collegiate Automotive Engineering Competition.”

The first year students are learning about advanced propulsion solutions with regards to improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions, while retaining vehicle performance and consumer appeal.

In Years Two and Three, students translate their designs into a working vehicle within the competition’s goals.
