Mission STS-128 aboard the space shuttle Discovery was delayed for launch this morning due to poor weather conditions.

The shuttle will try again Wednesday morning. Astronaut Kevin A. Ford, IN G ’82, is making his first spaceflight, and is part of the seven-member crew scheduled to deliver food and supplies to the International Space Station. Read more

Benedictine College (Atchison, KS) has announced an expansion of its Engineering Program made possible through a partnership with the University of North Dakota.

To head up the new Engineering Program, Benedictine hired Darrin Muggli, ND B ’92, a former professor at UND.
