This weekend in Nashville, TN, at AIChE’s National Student Conference, the 2009 Chem-E-Car Competition will also take place.
The competition is in its 11th year and expects to field approximately 30 university entries. The event is open to the public and will begin at 2 p.m. at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel Convention Center. Read related article

A recent blog entry from Education Week’s spotlight details a new online resource to help scientists, engineers, and the like, to overcome the language barrier associated with public communications.
The resource, Communicating Science: Tools for Scientists and Engineers, was developed by the AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) Center for Public Engagement with Science and Technology, in partnership with the National Science Foundation.
