Keith A. Bennett, OH K ’84, started as the new Stark County Engineer December 30, 2009.

According to an article in the Canton Rep, Bennett is the first Stark County engineer to come from the private sector almost 20 years.

James Presley Gill, MO B ’19, (1896-1961) is being remembered by the France-METALLURGIE blog.

Gill worked for Alloys Steel Company (VASCO) for forty years, he was president of the American Society for Metals (1940-41), he was the author of the “first modern text on the tool steels in 1936,” and he has patented “special steel compositions.” Learn more from France-METALLURGIE
