R. Bruce Mattingly, KY B ’81, has been named the dean of SUNY Cortland’s School of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Mattingly has served as interim dean since July 2008 and has been a professor at SUNY Cortland since 1999.

Emily Tao (CT B 2010), an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut, is a finalist for the Women Of Innovation award presented by the Connecticut Technology Council.

Tao is majoring in materials and bio-molecular engineering and is one of three finalists for “Collegian Innovation and Leadership.” She has interned at Sikorsky for three summers, is a 2009-10 Tau Bea Pi scholar, and is an active member of Omega Chi Epsilon. Read more

TERRY Environmental Services has announced the hiring of Jack M. “Bo” Ellis, III, P.E. (SC G ’78) as a senior environmental engineer.

Ellis has more than 30 years of experience in the environmental engineering field. Most recently, he served as vice president, principal environmental engineer, and program manager for Applied Technology and Management in Charleston, SC. Read full press release
