The Texas A&M University System recently announced that Dr. Theresa Maldonado, P.E., (GA A ’81) has been selected as associate chancellor for research.
Dr. Maldonado was also recently named as the director of the Energy Engineering Institute in the Texas Engineering Experiment Station.

This Saturday, the 236th chapter of Tau Beta Pi will be installed at Boise State University.
The installation of Idaho Gamma at Boise State University, Boise, ID, will be conducted under the supervision of Councillor Norman Pih and Executive Director James D. Froula, P.E.

Rowan University’s engineering program is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month.
In a recent article from The Whit Online, the engineering program is profiled. Included in the “Milestones in Engineering,” is 2006 when the New Jersey Epsilon Chapter of Tau Beta Pi was installed.
The article takes a look at the different fields of engineering at Rowan and talks to Dean of Engineering Dr. Dianne Dorland, P.E., (SD A ’69) about current K-12-related activities.
