Women in Engineering

An article from the Daily Illini profiled engineering activities at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specifically those targeting female and other K-12 students.

One such popular activity is Little Sister Weekend put on by the local chapter of the Society of Women Engineers. The story quotes the “first female tenure-track engineering faculty member,” Judith Liebman (IL A ’58), who said that young girls need to see more examples of engineering slipped into their curricula.
