Engineering News, Chapter-Related

On April 2, the 2010 graduating class of the Air Force Institute of Technology joined together in listening to the commencement speech of Lt. Gen. Janet C. Wolfenbarger, Vice Commander, Air Force Material Command. There were a total of two hundred five graduates in attendance, including Lt. Col. Amie Stryker, OH H 2010.

Colonel Stryker was highlighted for her personal achievements in a AFIT news release. She is the first female to receive a doctorate of Systems Engineering from AFIT, the first person in her family to receive a college degree, and she did all of it while raising two small children. Colonel Styker and her husband, Andrew Stryker (OH H 2010), are expecting their third child soon.

Also, deserving recognition from the 2010 AFIT graduating class, is Capt. Casey J. Pellizzari, OH H 2010, for receiving the Tau Beta Pi Award from the Ohio Eta chapter of Tau Beta Pi.
