Purdue University has announced the appointment of Timothy D. Sands (CA A ’80), Ph.D., to be the next executive vice president for academic affairs and provost.

Currently, Sands is a professor of engineering and the Robert L. Kirk Director of the Birck Nanotechnology Center.

The North Dakota Beta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi at the University of North Dakota will host the 3rd Annual Pi Mile Fun Run next weekend, April 25.

The Pi Mile Fun Run raises money for the Dakota Science Center, a non-profit organization that supports family science activities in the Grand Forks region.
