The Florida Epsilon Chapter of Tau Beta Pi at Florida Atlantic University is participating in the “Where’s the Science Event,” May 1 at the Sugar Sand Park Community Center.

Author Richard Weingardt, P.E. (CO E ’60) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) have partnered on a new website “that celebrates the life and work of Ferris Wheel inventor, George Ferris.”

The new book, Circles in the Sky, is written by Mr. Weingardt and published by the ASCE. Visit the website for vast amounts of information about ferris wheels, a biography of George Ferris, and excerpts from the book.
