In April, the Missouri University of Science and Technology announced campus leadership awards as part of the 8th Annual Student Leader’s Awards program.

Bahierah Khusheim, MO B 2010, received the Extraordinary Leadership in Global Involvement Award and the Diversity Recognition Award.
Also the Missouri Beta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi received the Most Improved Organization Award “for its significant growth in improving in stature and contributions to the university in the past year.”

Case Western Reserve University highlighted two junior students that are recent recipients of 2010 Barry Goldwater scholarships. One is a Tau Beta Pi member:
Caitlin Powell, OH A 2011, is studying biomedical engineering, is vice president of the OH Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, and plans to pursue a Ph.D. and research tissue engineering therapies to treat cancer.

West Virginia University has announced the 2010 Order of Augusta and Outstanding Seniors scholars. Thirty-five seniors were recognized as Outstanding Seniors, while eight also received the most prestigious honor for a WVU student, the Order of the Augusta.
Two of the students recognized with the Order of Augusta honor are Tau Beta Pi members:
Emily Calandrelli, WV A 2010, mechanical and aerospace engineering.
Mehran Mohebbi, WV A 2008, mechanical and aerospace engineering and physics.
