LSUsports.net recently highlighted the selection of twelve Southeastern Conference baseball players to the 2010 SEC Baseball Community Service Team.
One baseball player was selected from each team. Scott Haltom, MS B 2010, is a senior mechanical engineering major and catcher for the University of Mississippi.

Haltom was recognized for his involvement with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, St. Jude Children’s hospital, and in several academic honor societies. Read more here

David E. Karp’s, NJ D 2010, undergraduate success “has been propelled by his embrace of teamwork and creative problem-solving.” On June 1, Karp will address Princeton’s Commencement as valedictorian of his class.
Majoring in mechanical and aerospace engineering, Karp will first study at the University of Cambridge on a Churchill Scholarship for 2010-11 and then will study computational fluid dynamics at Stanford University on a Fannie and John Hertz Foundation fellowship. Read the full feature story

The College Sports Information Directors Association has announced the 2010 Academic All District teams. Glenn Frazee, WI D 2010, was named to the second team Academic All District team. Read news release
Frazee is a senior at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and an outside hitter for the men’s volleyball team. During his career he has been selected three times for academic honors, is a 2010 first team Midwest-III Volleyball All-Conference selection, and will graduate with a degree in architectural engineering with a 3.71 GPA.
