The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) is hosting its Annual Conference this year, June 20-23, in Louisville, Kentucky.
This year’s main Plenary Speaker for the conference is Karan Watson, Ph.D., P.E., (TX B ’77), Interim Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Texas A&M University.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) has announced that senior Becky Bailey, NY G 2010, has been selected to the 2010 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America College Division Softball First Team.

Bailey is a three-year captain of the RPI softball team, chemical engineering major, and was an All-Liberty League Second Team selection as a shortstop.

Tau Beta Pi is pleased to spread the word about the opening of a the new A.J. Whittenberg Elementary school in Greenville, South Carolina.
Opening in August, the school “will have an engineering focus with various hands-on learning experiences and computer software for students to design and develop products.” Read the full news release here
