In a NASA “Behind the Scenes” video, spacewalker Dr. Michael J. Massimino, NY A ’84, narrates as research is being conducted on space trash bags at Johnson Space Center’s Advanced Water Recovery Systems Development Facility.

A recent article from The Post Courier, highlights The Citadel’s participation at the 19th annual American Society of Civil Engineers 2010 National Student Bridge Competition hosted by Purdue University.
Citadel’s team was part of 800 civil engineering students, representing 46 colleges and universities, from the United States and Canada. Five members of the team constructed their bridge in 40 minutes.

Popular Science and others are reporting on recent patent filings by shoe maker Nike on technology that includes an “automatic lacing system.”
The new lacing system is very similar to the shoes from Back to the Future II, deemed the “Nike Air 2015 Kicks.”
