Robert W. Streeter, WY A 2011, has received a Union Wireless scholarship as part of the Union Wireless University of Wyoming Engineering and Applied Science Scholarship program.

“The scholarship reflects the technical educational pursuits of the Management of the company including John G. Woody, CEO and Eric J. Woody (WY A ’01), Chief Technology and Operations officer,” both engineering graduates of the University of Wyoming.

Streeter is the current president of the Wyoming Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi and is a senior pursuing a double major in electrical and computer engineering, respectively.

The Texas Beta Chapter, at Texas Tech University, of Tau Beta Pi will volunteer to help raise money for the Stroke/Aphasia Recovery Program at the Tech School of Allied Health Sciences on October 23.

In exchange for donations, students from the TX Beta chapter will participate in a work day that includes “planting flowers, pulling weeds, washing cars, raking leaves, or completing other household chores throughout Lubbock (TX).”
