Dr. John Dabiri, is profiled in a Q&A in the Los Angeles Times this past weekend. He is currently an assistant professor at Caltech and a 2010 winner of the MacAurthur Award for his work studying jellyfish propulsion.

In a recent column from The Seattle Times, a team of retired Boeing engineers are recognized for their work on “harvesting energy from the ocean.”
The group, which ranges in age from 74 to 92, recently presented their work at a scientific conference. One of the members is Robert T. Milligan (OH G ’41), who designed computer-control systems at Boeing.

Union College has announced that Bridget Little, NY M 2011, has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academmic All District First Team.
Little is a senior volleyball player, mechanical engineering major, and president of the New York Mu Chapter of Tau Beta Pi. Read the full press release here
