For 55 years, Roger W. Lindquist, OR A ’55, has been an employee at CH2M Hill. Today, at 77-years of age, Lindquist still works roughly eight hours a week.

Dr. Katherine J. Kuchenbecker (CA G 2000), assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania, has been named by Popular Science as one the “Brilliant 10.”

Her research is focused on “robotic systems that enable a user to touch virtual objects and distant environments as though they were real and within reach.” Read Dr. Kuchenbecker’s profile here for more information

Engineering professors at Western Michigan University have teamed up to offer the LEG UP pilot program.
Four students from a local school, in Michigan, spend one afternoon a week in a science lab performing research with an engineering professor. The middle school students select their own research topics with the hopes of “letting students explore what matters to them” in STEM pursuits.
