“This is a tool that could help the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention with the very difficult task of determining flu vaccines,” said Dr. Deem.

The San Francisco Business Times is reporting that the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame will induct Celeste Volz Ford. Former inductees include: Dr. Douglas Engelbart (OR A ’48), Gordone E. Moore, and David Packard (CA G ’34).
Since 1995, Ford has been CEO of Stellar Solutions, Inc., “a professional aerospace engineering services firm she formed.” Read more here

LHP Software has announced an upcoming ten-city recruiting tour in the hopes of filling 150 engineering jobs by next spring.
