Dr. Chris Marianetti, OH G ’97, and a team of engineers from Columbia University have discovered graphene’s weakness.
A paper detailing Dr. Marianetti’s findings has been accepted for publication in the journal Physical Review Letters.

According to WSU’s College of Engineering Dean, Dr. Zulma Toro-Ramos (KS B ’82), the goal of the new center is “to escalate the development and predominance of our local advanced manufacturing cluster in the world economy by connecting them with WSU’s applied research and technical assistance.”
