William D. Jones, NJ E 2012, was recently recognized for his fifth consecutive semester on the Dean’s list at Rowan University.

Jones is an electrical and computer engineering major minoring in Mathematics. He was initiated into the New Jersey Epsilon Chapter of Tau Beta Pi in November 2010. Read more here

DailyTech profiled lead author Roger Chen, MA H ’07, and his work on a new process to “allow laser-emitting nanopillars to be directly grown onto silicon at milder conditions than in past work.”

The U.S. Air Force Academy (CO) recently reported on energy research related to harnessing the energy of a simulated ocean wave. Click here for the article

The Academy’s Department of Aeronautics has been working on this project since 2008. The NSF has been funding the research and has agreed to provide funds to build a larger 1:10 scale model wave tank to test the wave energy converter.
