The SpaceX Corp. recently brought the capsule from their first rocket launch to display for Congress. Not only was this the first mission financed primarily by a private company, but the the capsule is in good enough shape to be rehabilitated and reused. Click here for more information

SpaceX vice president of astronaut safety and mission assurance and former NASA astronaut, Ken Bowersox, MD G ’78, was on hand and said, “People are starting to accept this is how we’re going to go forward… Our success in December changed some minds, but we have a ways to go.”
