With home videos from NASA’s 131st space shuttle mission, Astronaut Stephanie Wilson visited with an audience at the Tellus Science Museum (GA) last week.

Ms. Wilson holds two engineering degrees, from Harvard University and the University of Texas, and is NASA’s only female African-American astronaut to have made multiple journeys into earth orbit. Click here to read more about her career and her recent presentation

Robo Aid profiles the iMobot invented by Graham Ryland, CA U ’05, and his former professor from UC Davis. The modular robot “is an intelligent, reconfigurable modular robot that can be configured for a specific task.” Read more
Together Ryland and his professor formed Barobo Inc. to develop the robot commercially. “We wanted to create a robot that was modular and could be assembled together, but was also mobile and useful by itself,” said Ryland, president of Barobo.
