Tau Beta Pi District 6 includes the state of Alabama, which had many areas that were devastated by tornadoes last week.

Micron Technology, Inc., and Boise State University have joined together in developing a Ph.D. program in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at BSU’s College of Engineering.

The largest gift in university history, from Micron, will help establish the advanced degree in the department that currently conducts research in areas of DNA nanoscale scaffolding among other areas.

This week the University of Wyoming hosted a Tau Beta Pi honors banquet to recognize top students from the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
