The Boeing CrewSystem 2035 challenge winner was a team of cadets from the U.S. Naval Academy. The announcement was made this week. For more information, read the article
Charged to design “the cockpit of the future” cadets produced a full-scale mock-up. CEO and President of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, Dennis Muilenburg (IA A ’86), visited the Naval academy to present the trophy to the winning team.

The Highway Education Foundation and the Associated Pennsylvania Constructors announce the 2011 Transportation Scholarships. At least five “best entries” and up to seven “outstanding efforts” scholarships will be awarded for a “written pictorial report identifying necessary transportation improvement projects in Pennsylvania.”
