Oklahoma State University students are building a space habitat as part of NASA’s first X-Hab challenge. OSU associate professor Jamey Jacobs, OK A ’90, lead the nearly 70 students on the project over the past two semesters.

The University of Maryland and the University of Wisconsin are the other finalists designing habitats. The winner “will be taken to Arizona and used at NASA’s field testing lab that simulates the environment on Mars.” Click here for more

Campus Technology recently published part 1 of an interview with IEEE President Moshe Kam, PA Z ’77, entitled, “Saving Engineering Education.”
