On the Move: June 2011

Two Track & Field students from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have been selected to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District 1 College Division. Read the news release

Jeff B. Corelli, NY G 2011, is a mechanical engineering major, distance runner, who has interned with GE.

Garrett L. Harms, NY G 2011, is double majoring in nuclear and mechanical engineering, a decathlon competitor, and an intern with Proctor & Gamble Manufacturing.

GEI Consultants, Inc., has announced the hiring of eight senior professionals. Two of the eight are Tau Bates: (Read the press release for more information.)

Ying-Kit Choi, Ph.D., P.E. (IN G ’75), is a senior geotechnical and dam engineer.

Chia Tan, Ph.D., P.E. (KY A ’85), is a geotechnical leader with expertise in foundations.

Kristin Bretscher, PA H 2011, is one of four Bucknell University Track & Field athletes on the Capital One Academic All-District II First Team. All are now eligible for National Academic All-America consideration.

Bretscher competes in the heptathlon and pentathlon, she is majoring in chemical engineering, and has work experience as a process engineer at Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. Click here for the article
