There were several judged aspects to the competition, which hosted its final weekend in D.C. In addition to hands-on experience, several of the engineering students from the 16 student teams secured jobs thanks to their work during EcoCAR. Read more

The University of Maryland Baltimore County has announced that Keilan Freeman, MD D 2011, has been named to the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America University Division At-Large First Team.
Freeman is a mechanical engineering graduate who will attend Stanford University in the fall for his graduate studies. He was a member of the varsity swim team. Read the news release

The University of Evansville was host to this year’s American Society of Civil Engineers’ National Concrete Canoe Competition. The performance part of the competition was hosted last weekend.
