In a recent article from the Flint Journal, students from Kettering University are highlighted for their work on creating phone apps.
Their startup business, APPerfection LLC, “creates mobile phone apps for the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Google’s Android, and the WP7 series.” The three students are studying engineering at Kettering and part of the Kettering Entrepreneur Society.
Massoud Tavakoli, Ph.D. (LA A ’82), is a founding faculty member of the society and says, “You can put an app online for 99 cents. If a million people like it, you’ve made a million dollars. Some crash and burn, too. It’s a very busy space to make yourself known.”
