The TBP Laureates will be announced first. This year, five outstanding student members will be recognized. Other awards include, the Distinguished Alumnus, McDonald Mentor, and the Outstanding Advisor. Press releases and photos will be made available.

The Florida Eta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Florida A&M University – Florida State University, recently selected Dean Ching-Jen Chen as an eminent engineer of the their chapter.
Dr. Chen, FL E ’62, is currently Dean Emeritus & Professor Emeritus at Florida State’s College of Engineering. He is only the second eminent engineer elected by the FL Eta chapter. Read the news article here

Jessica B. Hilton, AL A 2011, was recently chosen by Auburn University’s Engineering Student Council as the Outstanding Graduate from the College of Engineering for the Spring 2011 semester.
Hilton will be working as a technical sales account manager for Trane, Inc. in Birmingham, AL. See the announcement here
