Mark Fuller, UT A ’76, will be one of two inductees into the Utah Technology Council Hall of Fame in 2011.
Fuller is president and CEO of WET, a water feature design firm in Los Angeles, CA. He is known for his work on several notable fountains, including The Dubai Fountain, The Fountains of Bellagio, and the Gateway fountain. Read the full press release

The Richmond Times-Dispatch recently profiled the Virginia Commonwealth University’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders for their upcoming mission to Bolivia.
VCU’s chapter will be visiting in October to evaluate the task of building a water-supply system for the people of San Antonia de Lomerio. The visit will be the first in a scheduled five-year partnership. For more information, read the article

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded a grant to Dr. Geoff Bothun, NV A ’98, “to research nanoparticles, which are used to in consumer products, from auto parts to cosmetics.”
