The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) has announced that Dr. Ronald M. Latanision, PA B ’64, is the new editor-in-chief of The Bridge.

Currently, Dr. Latanision is corporate vice president at Exponent. He replaces George Bugliarello (NY R ’51), who passed away in February. Click here for the press release

Nancy and Daniel H. Zivney, TX D ’73, have established a scholarship in perpetuity at Texas A&M University. The scholarship will be awarded to a freshman chemical engineering student at A&M.

Zivney, who retired in 2009 from ExxonMobil Corp., had his gift matched by the ExxonMobil Foundation. For more information, read the news release

Anthony Stone, AL A ’83, has been awarded the 2011 Outstanding Materials Engineering Alumnus by the Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.

Stone is aerospace global director of new business development and innovation for transparencies at PPG Industries. He was recognized for his outstanding professional contributions at the recent College of Engineering awards ceremony. Read the press release
