A group of researchers from Microsoft Research and the University of Washington are developing “a new system that uses the human body as an antenna.” The new technology is focused on eventually allowing humans gestures to control electronic devices.

Thanks to a team from Michigan State University that has developed a new technology and is licensing it to a security company, their is bad news today for those that try to mask their identities by changing their fingerprints.

The group of engineers have developed software that can help law enforcement detect when fingerprints have been altered. Read the article

On Sunday, NASA launched two probes headed for the moon. The probes will “conduct their science survey from a polar lunar orbit.”

It will take Grail-A and Grail-B four months to reach their destination. Read more about the mission and the complementary educational effort, called MoonKAM.
