In an article about the struggles with flood damage along the Missouri River, Susan Abbott’s, MO A ’03, work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is highlighted.

Abbott has spent more than 600 hours flying in a helicopter inspecting levees this summer. She is a civil engineer in the Corps of Engineers. Abbott is also an advisor to the MO Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi at The University of Missouri-Columbia.
