E. Mitchell Norville, SC A ’80, and wife Carla have made a gift to Clemson University to endow the Ernest R. Norville Endowed Chair in Biomedical Engineering.

Gary A. Gabriele (VT B ’73), dean of the College of Engineering at Villanova says that the course aims to inspire creativity among other things. “In many years past in engineering education, students were less creative when they left than when they entered, because we beat it out of them,” Dr. Gabriele said.
