Community Service & Other Chapter Activities

The Texas Eta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at The University of Texas at Arlington, has a park cleanup scheduled for October 15th, following a bent polishing activity.

Earlier this month, the bi-annual polishing of the Bent was covered by the Wayne State University College of Engineering. Members and initiates of the Michigan Epsilon Chapter spent the day cleaning and polishing the large Bent monument.

Initiates also polished their smaller individual Bents for initiation. Read more about the traditions of this event and see the images.

In a philanthropic event, the California Upsilon Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at the California State University, Sacramento, plans to plant 35 trees and dedicate a Mark Twain Grove in the Alder Grover Community.
