Missouri University of Science and Technology recently announced alumna and woman student of the year award winners.

Anna Louise Osborne, MO B 2011, received the Woman Student of the Year Gold Award. Osborne is a senior majoring in civil and architectural engineering.

Tau Beta Pi is hosting its 106th National Convention next week in Indianapolis, IN. On Thursday, October 27th, there will be a recruiting fair at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

William H. Swanson (CA M ’72), chairman and chief executive at Raytheon, announced this week teacher scholarships to support the Engineering is Elementary (EiE) program developed by the Museum of Science, Boston.

According to the article, the “donation will fund the training of educators throughout the nation to prepare them to deliver the EiE curriculum to their classrooms.”
