Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company’s director for directed systems, Paul Shattuck (IN A ’74), recently received the 2011 Outstanding Aerospace Engineering Award from Purdue University’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

At a recent RePlay for Kids event at the University of Akron Jennifer L. Smith (OH K 2012) and twin sister Katherine A. Smith (OH K 2012), were among participants that repaired toys for children with disabilities.

The Roger B. Gatewood Wing of the Mechanical Engineering Building at Purdue University was dedicated last week. The building is Purdue’s first LEED building. Click here for the press release

Several donors made the new wing possible, including two Tau Bates: Michael Thiele (IN A ’63) and James Perrella (IN A ’60).
