Collegiate Honors, December 2011

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) is announcing this week the 2011 Capital One Academic All-American men’s and women’s soccer teams.

There are two Tau Bates on the Division III All-American men’s soccer first team:

David J. D’Annunzio, PA K 2012, of Swarthmore College.

Brad Shelofsky, NY G 2011, of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Shelofsky’s teammate Adam Updegrove, NY G 2013, was a third-team honoree.

John Ryan Muich, MO B 2012, was first team All-American for the Division II men’s soccer team.

Tennessee Tech University recently profiled the TN Gamma chapter of Tau Beta Pi at TTU for their achievements.

The chapter received a secretary’s commendation award and honorable mention for the R.H. Nagel Most Improved Chapter award. Currently, there are 45 active student members in the chapter. Click here to read more

Austin Meier, WI D 2012, a basketball player at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Isaac Odim, MN B 2011, who spent time with the San Diego Chargers of the NFL this season.
