Siemens, a global engineering firm, has announced that they are seeking to recruit “more than 300 college students nationwide for intern positions in energy, healthcare, and the infrastructure and cities sectors.”

According to the announcement, “Siemens is specifically looking for students with education of experience in science, technology, engineering, and math…”

In December, SAE International announced the election of its 2012 Board of Officers and Directors and awarded to national awards. Ronald G. Rath, MI Z ’91, has been elected to serve as the Treasurer.

Inside Higher Ed reported on the details of data published by the National Science Foundation last month. The data showed a decline in research doctorates awarded by American universities.
