One prediction is that passwords will become obsolete, “as increasingly powerful phones and sensors will store your personal biometric information, enabling machines to automatically know you are who you say you are.”

A new space venture, Stratolaunch Systems plans to “build mobile launch systems to carry commercial and government payloads into space.”

Geek.com recently profiled a morphing hexapod created by a Norwegian engineer. Inspired by the “Transformers franchise,” the bot can become a ball by reforming its outer shell, which was originally a world globe.
