The Kentucky Kernel, the student newspaper at the University of Kentucky, recently published an opinion column written by Kathryn Gardner, KY A 2013.
In the article, Ms. Gardner discusses the “modernization” of coal mining. She says “the future of energy includes coal.” Gardner is a senior majoring in mining engineering and member of the Kentucky Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi.
