Tau Beta Pi is proud to announce a partnership with Teach For America to bring the first TBP/TFA STEM achievement gap awareness week to four university and TBP chapters across the country. There will be week-long projects taking place at Cornell University (NY Delta), Pennsylvania State University (PA Beta), the University of Maryland (MD Beta), and the University of Michigan (MI Gamma), aimed at increasing awareness of the STEM achievement gap among college students and to inspire campuses to take action towards achieving educational equity.
As part of this week, the Tau Beta Pi MindSET program will be promoted at these four chapters and several MindSET activity sessions will be hosted for local K-12 students.
