Two engineers were recognized by the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NAVFAC ESC) as the military and civilian engineers of the year. Read the press release

Lt. Cmdr. William Windus, VT A ’98, is the ESC operations officer “in charge of coordinating more than $400 million of construction worldwide.” Joshua Henson, FL Z ’02, is an ocean engineer at the NAVFAC ESC’s Ocean Facilities Dept. He “led a government and industry team that developed an innovative underwater distributed network (UDN).”

The Moultrie-Colquitt County (GA) Chamber of Commerce will award the inaugural Colquitt County Career Achievement Award to J. Wayne Littles, Ph.D. (GA A ’62).

Littles’ professional career included time at NASA as director of the Marshall Space Flight Center, vice president for Pratt and Whitney’s liquid space propulsion business, and as an engineering consultant for Boeing and others. For more biographical information, read the full article
