This week, the White House announced the five winners of the Campus Champions of Change Challenge, “a competition among college students tackling important issues, like homelessness, hunger, sustainability concerns, and more.”

At the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, the Full Circle Food Pantry was recognized for feeding needy students on and off campus. Clemson University has announced that Dr. Esin Gulari, MI E ’73, will step down from her position as dean of the school’s College of Engineering and Science after an extended illness.

Dr. Gulari will continue as a member of the faculty. She came to Clemson in 2006 from Wayne State University and is recognized as a national research leader in the areas of thermodynamics, composites and complex fluids. Read the article
