Electrical engineer and California farmer, Abu Zubair (MA H ’82), is also author of The Silent and the Lost. His first novel, “was short-listed in the 2011 Sharp Writ Book Awards from America, making the top three finalists in the fiction category.

The Texas Delta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Texas A&M, has three upcoming corporate events scheduled. The first on March 28 presents an entrepreneurial career panel. The second on March 29 is a biotechnology career panel. The final event is scheduled for April 3, an effective business communication presentation. Clarkson University has announced that Dr. Douglas G. Bohl, CT B ’92, has been granted tenure and promoted from assistant professor to associate professor of mechanical and aeronautical engineering. Read the news announcement

Dr. Bohl was previously an assistant professor in the Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering at Clarkson. “His research interests are in experimental fluid mechanics and in the development of optical diagnostic techniques.”
