The Tau Beta Pi Association has announced the 2012-13 class of TBP Scholars. This year 200 Scholars were selected from 328 applicants with a total of $392,000 awarded to help fund a senior year of study for the Scholars.

Last week, Russ Pierce, (WA A ’70) director of Tau Beta Pi’s Engineering Futures program, visited the Texas A&M at Qatar Chapter of Tau Beta Pi to deliver five modules of the Engineering Futures (EF) program to members and new initiates.

The EF program focuses on training engineering students in the soft-skills and non-technical skills necessary for success in the workplace. Click here for the full news story

The Savannah Tribune recently profiled the opening of a new office by Networking & Engineering Technologies, Inc. (N.E.T.) in Savannah, Georgia. Founded and owned by Ronal E. Butler, DC B ’78, N.E.T. was established in 1995 “to provide networking and computer support for both government and commercial clients” and is headquartered in Woodbridge, Virginia.
